West Ham FC X New Balance x TFL
For those that know me, I’m a West Ham Fan! I was born not far from the original football ground at Upton Park in East London.
West Ham have now ended their 11 year partnership with Umbro and have now signed a 5 year deal with kit provider and sports brand, New Balance.
It got me thinking, wouldn’t it be a great idea to re-imagine the kit graphic and for that kit to resonate with West Ham fans, young and old.

Creative Direction - Heritage
Creating a kit that evokes the history of West Ham United FC
Utilising graphic elements of the previous West Ham badge / emblem juxtaposed with elements of the River Thames and the Boleyn Ground.
This could be used for West Ham’s home kit

Creative Direction - Evolution
Creating a kit represents the current and the future of West Ham United FC
Utilising graphic elements of the current architectural look of the London Stadium and the River Thames
This could be used for West Ham’s away home kit

Creative Direction - Kinetic
Speed, velocity and movement is at the heart of this creative direction.
Movement of players
Movement of Fans
Movement of Transportation
This could be used as West Ham’s alternative kit
Tonal silvers to highlight the Jubilee Line, where West Ham’s stadium is located - Stratford Station.
….and an added bonus - A West Ham kit graphic in a moquette (seat coverings) for the Jubilee Line
